The Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic is the regulator and catalyst of the tourism sector in the country. It is responsible for planning and promoting the activities of the tourism industry, coordinating the development of hotel companies, regulating the operation of tourism services and increasing the country’s tourism production by promoting construction, financing, improvement and conservation of the sector.
